About Us

The Memphis BioWorks Development Council and the Memphis BioWorks Foundation has committed to refining a catalog of existing resources, building the brand, facilitating lead development, and raising the overall visibility of Memphis’ bioscience resources, both internally and externally to Memphis. 

The council is composed of companies, institutions, and professionals who have an interest in the Memphis BioScience community. The council provides a forum for members to discuss issues, exchange information, benchmark, and review government policies that affect the industry.  A vibrant medical industry strengthens the local economy and ensures that entrepreneurs, as well as established companies, find an attractive environment for business development.
